Changes are always around the corner.

I cant believe how many changes I have been through over the past three years. Thinking about my birthday coming up on Saturday: it makes me think of my life as it stands right now. Three years ago, I got married to my best friend. He is my world and I wouldnt know what to do without him. Along with marrying him, I got a step son with it: Adam. He is always making my husband and I smile. My husband left just five days after we got married for Afganistan where he was for 18 month than he was stationed at fot bragg, nc. So I moved to NC to be with him. Of course there is another change, I got my orders to deploy to Iraq just one month after getting to NC from AZ. I was there for a year and when I returned home in Janauary, my husband was than again sent somewhere else. So I had to wait 7 more months to be with the love of my life. Now we are finally together in Arizona. We have a house together and loving life with eachother and his son. Another change comes to our plate in August when we found out that we are expecting our first child together. We are so excited about having a family. So looking back at all the changes gone on just in three years, it was all worth it and I know that is always changes around the corner.

  1. Very nice posts. I see that you are in the army? You said you were deployed? Where? What is your title? Do you think we should pull out our soldiers? I am so happy that you and your husband are finally together. Least you had something to look forward to when your were discharged. I hope your seeing the light at the end of the tunnel. It seems like every time I see the light I miss a step and fall back down. Life is a struggle for some people I guess.

  2. Hello Christinap

Yes, I have been in the army national guard for 7 years now. I was deployed to Iraq from 2009-2010. It was a long deployement. I am very happy that I have my family back together which took many hurdles to get here. I am seeing the light at the end of tunnel for getting out of military, but there is always another adventure to go on. This is my first baby that me and my husband are expecting so this is a new adventure for me being a mom. even though i have been helping with my step son since he was 7 months old, it is going to be different. Dont give up on anything you do, somethings just throw challenges at you.
